A repeat client from Westminster stopped into Westminster Speed & Sound in search of more light output for his 2013 Ram 2500 truck. After looking it over with him and getting to understand his needs, we suggested a Rigid Industries E Series 20″ light bar. He liked our idea, so we set a time to perform the installation.
On the day of the install, we used a set of custom Rigid Industries mounting brackets to hold the light. These brackets use the factory setting to hook bolts and perfectly center the light in the mouth of the bumper.
The client wanted this bar to extend the range of his high beams, so we built a custom circuit to trigger the LED bar. The light will automatically turn on with the high beams as long as he has the switch on in the vehicle as well as the ignition on. This way, the light can never be left on accidentally when exiting the vehicle. We soldered all of our connections and applied protective heat-shrink for the ultimate in durability.
When the client came to pick up the vehicle, he loved the look of the light. We talked to him a few days later and he also loved the improvement in night-time visibility.
