Stinger Heigh10 Features
The 10-inch display has a resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels and can display 16.7 million colors. With its capacitive-touch interface, the display is clear, vibrant and easy to see in bright lighting. An important feature is a rotary volume control that makes adjustments easy and intuitive while driving. In addition, we can adjust the display’s depth and angle to match your vehicle’s interior design so it looks fantastic in your dash.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Smartphone Integration
No modern multimedia receiver would be complete without Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. These voice recognition technologies can be activated by pressing the voice button beside the volume control. For example, you can dictate a text message, make a phone call or ask the system to play music stored on your phone. Using voice commands, you can also access streaming services like Tidal, Pandora, Spotify, iHeart, Apple Music and YouTube Music.
Never Get Lost Again
If you have your smartphone connected to the Heigh10, you can access Google Maps and Waze from either phone platform and Apple Maps if you have an iPhone. As a result, you can request directions to almost any address, business or landmark in North America using simple voice commands. In addition, these navigation systems access the internet to provide address information. Likewise, traffic and accident information is available in major cities, so the route to your destination will be as efficient as possible.
If you don’t want to use your phone, you can opt for the optional iGo navigation software upgrade. If you’ll be traveling in an area without cellular coverage or want to avoid roaming fees, this navigation includes detailed 3D maps and landmarks to make your trip efficient.
All The Music Options You Could Ever Want
Unsurprisingly, the Heigh10 supports playback of all the popular digital media files from a USB memory stick. The system will play MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG and M4A audio files along with QuickTime, MPEG-4, Flash, VOB DVD and MPEG 1/2 video files. The system also includes Bluetooth audio streaming and support for the aptX codec. You can, of course, tune in to your favorite terrestrial AM and FM radio stations and see PTY information on the big display. The Heigh10 supports SiriusXM satellite radio by adding an SXV300 tuner module to enable you to enjoy the genre-specific music you choose from coast to coast. If you want to connect an external media source, there’s an HDMI input and a composite video input on the main chassis.
Speaking of inputs, the Heigh10 offers support for a backup camera with a microphone, so connecting a trailer can be easier than ever. In addition, three additional camera inputs have dedicated triggers for forward-facing and blind-spot monitoring cameras.
Excellent Sound Quality and Audio Processing Features
The Heigh10 includes front, rear and subwoofer preamp outputs rated for 5 volts so that we can upgrade your audio system with external amplifiers for better sound. We can feed a Toslink optical output directly into a signal processor to create music that’s crystal clear.
Regarding audio processing, the Heigh10 offers an adjustable high-pass crossover that works with the front and rear preamp outputs and the built-in 16-watt-per-channel amplifier. There’s also an adjustable low-pass crossover for the subwoofer output. The radio includes adjustable output delays that we can use to align each speaker’s output to help create an amazing soundstage in your vehicle. Finally, we can configure the 15-band graphic equalizer so the system sounds precisely how you like.
Vehicle Integration Options
As we mentioned, Stinger has put significant effort into ensuring that the Heigh10 can be an integral part of your vehicle. The radio has inputs for steering wheel control interfaces so that you can adjust the volume, change songs or radio stations or switch sources without taking your hands off the steering wheel.
Jeep Wrangler JL, JK and Gladiator JT
If you own a Wrangler or Gladiator, you’re in luck. Stinger has created a custom dash kit to mount the Heigh10 in the dash, so it looks just as if it came from the factory. If you have a 2011 through 2018 JK-chassis Jeep Wrangler, the SR-JK11H kit includes a vehicle-specific harness and interface that allow warning chimes and a factory-installed amplifier to work flawlessly. Illumination, reverse and parking brake signals are also fed directly into the Heigh10.
If you have a 2018 and up JL Wrangler or 2019 or newer JT Gladiator, the SRK-JW18EH kit adds the PAC-LINK interface that allows the radio to display vehicle information like engine speed, vehicle speed and much more on a gauge display. You can adjust climate control settings from the radio and even see whether a door is open. Even if your Jeep didn’t include it from the factory, an off-road and drivetrain information screen is available.
Ram Truck Integration
The Stinger SRK-RAM13H kit for 2013 through 2019 RAM and 2019 “Classic” trucks includes a mounting plate for the Heigh10 radio and supports climate control adjustments, real-time performance gauges and information like tire pressure and door status display. This kit also includes a RadioPro interface to ensure that the Heigh10 works with the factory speakers and amplifiers.
Chrysler 300 and Dodge Challenger and Charger Applications
The SRK-CHR15H kit works with 2015 through 2021 Chrysler 300 and Dodge Challenger and Charger vehicles to integrate the Heigh10 seamlessly. The kit maintains steering wheel audio button control and support for factory-installed backup cameras (if equipped). In addition, you can adjust climate controls, see real-time gauges and monitor engine status and vehicle tire pressures. Adapters for the factory-installed AM/FM and satellite radio antennae are also included.
Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra Installation Kits
The SR-GM14H kit for the Heigh10 works with 2014 through 2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks, along with 2015 through 2019 Sierra and Silverado 2500 and 3500 models. Aside from the custom dash kit, the SR-GM14H maintains park assist and reverse camera integration, if equipped. Warning chimes, OnStar, factory Wi-Fi and steering wheel controls also work with the Heigh10 radio.
Toyota Truck Upgrade Solutions
If you have a 2014 through 2021 Tundra, the SR-TUN14H kit provides a seamless upgrade solution. The SR-TAC16H kit works with 2016 through 2021 Toyota Tacoma models. Both solutions work with the factory-installed JBL audio systems, retain warning chimes and the USB ports. In addition, adapters are provided for the AM/FM, GPS, and SiriusXM antennae.
