A long-time client came to us after he added another vehicle to his collection. It was an absolutely stunning 2011 Porsche 911 GTS 4s with the rare Aero Kit. When it pulled into the parking lot for the first time, we knew it was something special. For this car, the client wanted to add CarPlay functionality and SiriusXM while keeping the original Bose audio system intact. We worked up a proposal that he liked and
time was set to perform the installation.
For this car, we chose the Sony XAVAX7000 unit because we like how clean it looks in a Porsche dash. We sourced a factory dash escutcheon, so the end result makes this unit look like a factory-installed option. Of course, we used a MOST integration adapter to keep the Bose system intact and sounding just like before. A dual USB port was flushed into the center console in place of a factory power port. 100% of this installation can be completely reversed so the owner would never incur zero value loss. We also completely hid the SiriusXM antenna in our proprietary spot, which gives a good reception with zero cosmetic impact.
