A client from Hampstead contacted Westminster Speed and Sound about tinting the windows on his 2014 Porsche Cayman. That surely is a beautiful car and we wanted to make sure that anything we suggested to the client only improved the classy looks of this sports car.
After we spent time with the client on reviewing options, he settled on our Dark Matter film. It has a 99% reduction in the sun’s harmful UV rays so it does a great job of protecting the interior and occupants of the vehicle. It also does a great job of reducing infra-red heat from the sun by over 60% so the car is much more comfortable in the summertime. When you add in the glare reduction from the sun during the day and headlights at night, this film is a great overall value.
Our team installed our normal protection gear on the seats, footwells and steering wheel to protect the car from damage while in our care. We also use a computer-controlled plotter to cut our tint so no razor blade damage to the vehicle can occur. Many shops still cut film the old-fashioned way and are actually using your vehicle as a cutting board.
As you can see in the final pictures, the car looks great. When the owner arrived to pick up his Porsche and saw the results of our work, he was all smiles.
