A Baltimore area client was referred to Westminster Speed and Sound by the local Honda dealer in search of a rear-seat entertainment system for their 2015 Honda Pilot. Over the years, we have developed a great relationship with them and have earned their trust. After they spoke with our sales team, they decided that an overhead video system was the best solution for their needs.
For this SUV, we chose an Audiovox 10″ drop-down video unit for its combination of great reliability coupled with ease of use. It combines an integrated DVD player and has options such as USB and HDMI inputs, allowing for multiple options to get video playing into the unit. Two wireless headphones come along with the system and extra ones can be added as needed.
For the best overall sound quality when playing music through the stock Honda stereo, we ran the signal into the factory aux input in the center console. It is designed in such a way that the occupants can easily play something different through that port, should the need arise.
The client was extremely pleased with the fit, finish and operation of the new rear seat entertainment system.
