A client from Westminster stopped by Westminster Speed and Sound looking for a backup camera solution for his 2005 Toyota Avalon. One of our guys went out to the vehicle, looked it over with him and showed him different solutions available for that vehicle.
We realized that the client liked his original stereo system in the dash, but it did not have a color display and the rearview mirror had many optional features in it. For these reasons, we suggested a standalone 4.3″ monitor that we could mount right beside his radio display in the dash, aimed at the driver. He liked our idea, so we scheduled an appointment to do the work.
We mounted a backup camera at the top of the rear license plate, centered on the vehicle, and it worked great with the monitor we installed upfront.
