A client from Westminster came to our store, Westminster Speed & Sound, with his stunning 2013 Nissan GTR. He was interested in a product that would protect him from damaging his front bumper when using a face-in parking spot. As you can see in the pictures, the front end of this GTR sits low to the ground and he didn’t want to risk damaging the lower lip spoiler.
After looking over the vehicle with him, we suggested the Curb Alert Pro. It is a unique product that sounds an audible alarm when the front of the vehicle is at a programmed distance from an object. In his GTR, we set the module to alert him when he was 12″ away from a curb. The system uses a black sensor that is about half the size of a pack of cards and is strategically mounted in the center of the front bumper. If you can see from the pictures, you can barely see the sensor if you look straight down from the GTR emblem in the grille.
When the client came to pick up the vehicle, he liked how invisible the sensor was to the naked eye. He also appreciated how easy it was to use.
