A client from Upperco, MD, came to us with a few simple requests. Her daughter’s 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and was too old to have come with factory bluetooth and ipod/iphone integration. The client wanted to take distractions away from her daughter so that she could focus more on the road ahead.
We installed a Sony cd player with bluetooth and USB. We ran the USB into a convenient place below the heater controls, allowing her daughter to plug her iPhone in and PUT IT DOWN. Whenever she receives a phone call the radio will mute and show caller ID on-screen. She can now simply press a button on the radio to answer the phone, legally and hands-free! The USB gives her full access to all the music on her iPhone, as well as control of Pandora internet radio right on the screen of the Sony. It also serves as a car charger for her iPhone!
