Today we installed an iPod interface in a 2005 GMC Yukon for a local Westminster, MD client. This vehicle had the factory Bose stereo with XM Satellite Radio, steering wheel controls, and the factory rear seat entertainment system. Everything worked fine, he just wanted the ability to play an iPod/iPhone through the existing stereo. Not a problem! Our interface gave the customer a 30 pin iPod/iPhone dock cable which will charge the device and display text information right on the screen of the factory radio! He can even go to the next track using the controls on the steering wheel, making this iPod interface extremely easy to use. Also, since the unit gives him control through the radio he does not need to take his hands off the wheel and try to read the small screen of the iPod while driving!
