Two Problems With The Stock Harley System
It is a very good question. The simple answer to this question is speaker quality and lack of power. Your Harley stereo system does not have the power needed for you to enjoy your stereo system at speed. When you are sitting still and the engine is off, volume is not an issue. But just starting the engine and letting it idle makes it hard to hear your music. When you couple that with road noise while riding, it is a lost cause.

If you own a 1997–2013 model, your fairing came with 5.25” speakers, and they need to be bigger. When you couple them with an amplifier, you won’t believe the improvement.

We have taken all of our expertise, developed over the years in doing car audio and marine systems, and applied it to motorcycles.
