A client from Hampstead stopped by Westminster Speed and Sound, interested in a truck bed cover for a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. One of our team looked over the truck and showed him several solutions we had to offer. During the conversation, it became evident that he wanted a hard cover in a folding design. After reviewing options, he landed on the Undercover Ultra Flex cover. We gave him an installed price that he liked, so we ordered the cover and we set a time to perform the installation.
On the day of the install, our technician used reference-standard methods for the installation to ensure that the cover would operate smoothly, lie flat and do a great job of keeping out the weather. After the installation was finished, one of our staff walked out to the truck with the client, showed the client how to operate the cover and answered any technical questions he had.
One of the reasons we like bed covers so much is the increased versatility that they add to your truck bed. Now your cargo can be safe and secure, and protecting the contents from bad weather is no longer a concern. In the case of a hard folding cover, each panel is relatively light, making it easy to lift and put back into place. This Undercover model allows you to open two of the panels and cinch them down so you can drive with the bed 2/3 of the way exposed. If you need whole bed access, you can fold it all the way up against the back of the cab as can be seen in the pictures. It is easily held in place with two support rods that normally tuck up tight against the side of the bed, out of the way.
