A Westminster, MD client came to us looking for an exhaust upgrade and better fuel mileage in his 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500. We had previously sold him an air intake system and Bullydog performance tuner. He did not want it to be loud, but wanted the V8 to SOUND like a V8… The factory exhaust does a very good job of keeping these trucks quiet.
Chevy Silverado Exhaust Upgrade
Today we installed a Gibson performance exhaust! This cat-back Silverado exhaust upgrade fit beautifully, and gave him the exact sound he was looking for. It had a deep rumble but did not get too loud and raspy at higher RPM’s. With a free-flowing aftermarket exhaust, he can also expect an increase of around 1-2 miles per gallon! The increases are very dependent on driving habits and locations, but there is ALWAYS an improvement.
