Here at WSS Westminster Speed & Sound, we installed our first automotive security system in September 1990, so we’ve been involved in this category for a long time. A lot has changed over the decades. Most vehicles now come with a factory-installed security system. While these systems are definitely better than nothing, they aren’t in the same league as a
high-quality aftermarket security system.
Aftermarket Security Systems Offer Better Protection
Our aftermarket security systems offer several sensor options designed to detect tampering with your vehicle. One of the most popular sensors can even detect the vehicle being lifted as little as 3 degrees. This is especially helpful in preventing someone from stealing your wheels or towing the car, as it will trigger the alarm and alert you to a problem. Our sensors also detect impacts, so a shopping cart or vehicle bump will trigger the alarm. Finally, glass breakage or vehicle motion is also monitored.

Security Options
GPS tracking can be installed as a stand-alone system or added to one of our security solutions. It uses our DroneMobile LTE-based controller to provide GPS tracking and remote control of the alarm and/or remote starter we installed for you.
