What Is the JBL BassPro Hub?
The BassPro Hub is a self-contained subwoofer system that’s designed to fit inside the spare tire in the trunk or cargo area of your car or SUV. The system features a circular die-cast aluminum enclosure that measures 14 3/16 inches in diameter and a mere 6.5 inches in depth. The enclosure is home to a custom-designed 11-inch subwoofer that provides excellent output and low-frequency extension. The subwoofer features a fiberglass-reinforced cone and a rubber surround. As with all JBL loudspeakers, the suspension and motor assembly have been optimized to minimize distortion, even at high excursion levels. The result is bass that’s musical and detailed across a range of output levels.
The BassPro Hub features an integrated 200-watt Class D amplifier. The system includes both RCA preamp and speaker-level signal inputs to make it easy to connect to whatever radio is in your vehicle. JBL has also included a wired remote with a level control, adjustable crossover, a bass boost control and both a polarity switch and phase adjustment knob. Our technicians can optimize these settings to allow the subwoofer to blend perfectly with the rest of the speakers in your sound system.
