Start with an Audio Specialist
Almost anyone can call themselves a “Harley Audio Expert.” The reality? Ninety-nine percent of the people making that claim are simply folks who installed one of the many “plug & play” systems, and it happened to work, so now they think they’re pros. Sadly, this is the norm in today’s market. The good news is that we are experts in this category. We rarely use cookie-cutter plug-and-play kits from major vendors. Yes, we use proper wiring harnesses that maintain your factory warranty. Still, we go much further: we hand-select what we feel are the best components from a tightly curated group of premium brands. Drawing on our deep background in car audio dating back to 1990, we understand acoustics and have applied that knowledge to the motorcycle world. You might see multiple brands in a single system when you choose one of our staged packages. That’s because we extensively test and build each package around what performs best, not what is trending or hyped up.Digital Sound Processing (DSP): The Heart of Our Systems
DSPs, or digital signal processors, are the lifeblood of every audio system we build. Our team has been tuning DSPs since 2009—you could say we’ve done more than a few. These “black boxes” sit after the source unit in your fairing and shape the musical signal before it reaches the amplifiers and speakers. A properly tuned DSP helps your speakers play louder, sound dramatically better, and—most importantly—become far more reliable. Every bike we build is meticulously tuned with our laptop, microphones, and advanced measuring equipment. It’s the only way to do it right. Our mission is to give you an audio system that lasts for years, not months. And in the rare case that something does go wrong, we’re here to help.

Amplifiers: Power and Practicality
Amplifiers are the engine of any motorcycle audio system, supplying the horsepower your speakers need to be heard clearly at speed. But there’s a catch: current draw. Your bike’s stock stator has limited output, meaning only so much power is available from the battery. While a lithium battery can extend playtime before a recharge is needed, it’s not a magic solution. We regularly see bikes come in with audio problems caused by insufficient power. That’s why 95% of our systems are designed to work with the stock battery, giving you peace of mind for long rides. We’re happy to explain this in more detail during the design phase of your build.
Speakers: A Critical Component
Speakers are one of the most critical parts of your system—and not the place to skimp. They face two to three times more stress than car speakers, so they must be engineered to endure that punishment and still sound great. We’ve done the homework and selected the best speakers for various price points and bike setups.
Bass on Bikes: Know Before You Go
Lately, every other phone call we get is about adding bass. Yes, we offer bass upgrade packages. But it’s important to understand the pros and cons of adding bass to a motorcycle. Call us and we’ll gladly walk you through your options.Installation: The Most Overlooked Factor
We can’t overstate the importance of expert installation. Every week, we have a bike in the bay undergoing a “stereo rescue” because someone else got it wrong. We’ve seen melted wires, terrible connections, products just “floating” around instead of being mounted properly, and, worst of all, poor sound. Every time we think we’ve seen the worst, something even more shocking rolls in. In the end, the customer spends more trying to fix a bad job than it would’ve cost to do it right the first time. Please, properly vet any shop before handing over your bike—and do not ask them to install gear you sourced yourself. If they’re true experts, they’ll know more about audio than you do, so trust them. We don’t paint bikes or build engines—we build audio systems and know them well. That’s our specialty. If your bike has fallen victim to a so-called “expert,” call us. We’ll do our best to make it right.
