A good client of ours from Lusby, MD brought his brand new 2014 Ford Expedition to us for an alarm and remote start package. We also installed a Compustar Drone system as well. The Drone gives this client the ability to start his vehicle right from his smartphone! He was also interested in tracking the vehicle using GPS technology, so the Drone was a great investment. It gives him the ability to track the vehicle, see when the ignition is turned on, and also gives him an audible alert if the alarm goes off. The Drone is a great idea for anyone who loves smartphones!
EZGo by Compustar
One last feature we added as a final touch was an EZGo. The EZGo is a very small RFID device that you put on your key ring. This device is recognized by the alarm remote start system when in range and out of range. It will automatically unlock the doors for you as soon as you are within close proximity to the vehicle, and will automatically lock the doors when you walk away. Think about how convenient this feature is! No more digging around in your pockets or purse to find the keys while standing in the rain, or in a dark alley! It also will not allow you to lock the keys in the car by accident, and will not allow you to FORGET to lock the doors when you leave it!
