A repeat client from Littlestown, Pennsylvania, came to Westminster Speed & Sound with his 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, looking to improve the sound quality of his stereo system. We have done previous audio work of great quality for him, so he returned with his new vehicle, seeking our services again.
Once we became familiar with his current vehicle and his goals, we suggested the Kicker PWRA411 system. This is a matched-audio upgrade package, specifically designed for the Wrangler, that works with the factory radio and speakers. It includes a 200 watt amplifier designed for the Wrangler to maximize the sound quality and output of the Jeep’s factory speakers. The package includes a sophisticated DSP circuit inside the amplifier that has been tuned to the acoustics of the Jeep. A second 200 watt amplifier powers the 10″ subwoofer that is installed behind the rear seat on a quick release mount.
If the client ever needs all of his cargo space, the subwoofer can be removed in under 2 minutes. The improvement in sound quality, output and bass are fabulous for such a reasonably well-priced audio upgrade.
