Chevrolet and GMC satellite radio additions are a specialty here at WSS Westminster Speed and Sound. A client from Union Bridge MD recently had us install a portable SiriusXM satellite radio unit in his 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD. The client had satellite radio before and he loved it. He did not want or need to change the radio in this truck so we pointed him to a solution that accomplished this need. We mounted the docking station in a cubby hole below the heater controls on the dash, giving it a very classy look, almost like it came with the truck from the factory! We installed a hardwired fm modulator kit so that the SiriusXM audio played through the existing factory radio with good, quality, sound.
