A repeat client from Finksburg rode into Westminster Speed and Sound on his beautiful 2016 CVO Road Glide. He was interested in improving the audio system on his bike. It had the factory-installed Boom system that came on the CVO models that year. After listening to it with him and getting an explanation of where he wanted improvements, we scheduled time to get the vehicle into our install bay.
Once we had it in there, we realized that upgrading the front and rear speakers to Rockford Fosgate TMS65s would probably do the trick. The client would get dramatically improved clarity and around a 20% increase in output from their improved efficiency. As you can see in the pictures, they fit perfectly in the fairing and Tour Pak. We reused the factory grilles in the rear and the custom-fit Rockford grilles up front.
When the client came to pick up his bike, he was all smiles. He said it gave him the improvement he was looking for and that made our day.
