A client from Westminster came to Westminster Speed and Sound, looking for a 2012 Chevy Silverado backup camera system. After spending time with the client, we determined that a standalone screen option was the best solution for this vehicle.
We installed one of our 4.3″ LCD monitors on a ProClip mount near the top of the dash in clear view of the driver. For the camera, we chose one of our low-light cameras that mounts at the top of the license plate and is held in place by the tag bolts. This is a great solution since it allows the driver to back up to a hitch easily, as well as have use of the camera when carrying a long load that requires the tailgate to be down.
