A repeat client from Hanover, Pennsylvania, came to Westminster Speed & Sound looking to install some equipment from a previous vehicle and add additional equipment. This would be round one of the audio upgrades to the vehicle.
We reinstalled his navigation system from his previous truck and integrated the steering wheel-mounted audio controls to work with the new stereo system. He gained turn-by-turn GPS navigation, Bluetooth for hands-free calling and music streaming, and USB control of his portable media files.
Our team also installed one of our low-light cameras at the top of the rear license plate, giving him a clear view of what’s behind him, even when it’s dark outside.
While we had the vehicle, he asked us to install a high-quality remote starter and chose the Compustar 2W9000-SS system. It gives the client two-way control of the vehicle for confirmation back to the remote of any command chosen. He can also monitor the temperature inside the vehicle, so he knows how long it will take to warm it up in the winter or cool it down in the summer.
The next round of upgrades calls for replacing the speakers, adding amplifiers and installing a subwoofer enclosure.
