Rear Parking Assist

Backup parking sensors are standard equipment on some of the most expensive vehicles currently on the market. Now every driver can benefit from the same safety features as the more expensive versions by protecting their vehicle investment with backup parking sensors.

Also Full License Plate Frame cameras are now available! The design integrates a rear view vision camera with your vehicle License plate. The design is so discreet; you will hardly know it is there. The camera is installed flush in the license plate frame so there is no danger of the camera being knocked off or stolen. The color camera is fully waterproof with a wide 130-degree angle lens. The top of the License Plate Frame is deeper than the bottom, so it naturally tilts downward, giving a good clear, sharp, color picture of what is behind your vehicle or trailer. Choose from two colors available; Chrome or Matte Black.

We also offer rear view cameras for trailers. If you would like to see what is behind your trailer, we can help. Plus if you want to know what is going on inside the trailer, say for horses, we can install cameras inside as well. Call or email us to schedule an appointment to look at your trailer. We can customize a system to fit your needs.

An installed backup parking sensor helps drivers backup their vehicles with confidence and safety by signaling the presence of objects that might otherwise be unseen ... objects that could potentially cause extensive vehicle damage, or even personal injury.

The danger of blind spots

Every year, children are injured and killed because drivers (in some cases, parents) don't see them while backing up. According to KIDS AND CARS (www.kidsandcars.org), a nonprofit group that works to improve child safety around cars, at least 50 children are backed over every week in the U.S. Forty-eight are treated in hospital emergency rooms and at least 2 children die.

An Overview of How Backup Parking Sensors Work

When in reverse, the 2 rear sensors installed in the back bumper send ultrasonic sound waves that bounce off object. A display panel mounted inside the vehicle provides both visual and audible warnings to the driver regarding the distance of those objects.

An Overview of How Rearview Cameras Work

A tiny camera mounts on the bumper of your vehicle or License plate and uses advanced signal processing to produce natural looking images from a wide angle lens. That means that the typical fish-eye looking images you see on wide angle cameras are normal and natural looking with the camera. The system is activated once the car's transmission is placed and reverse and provide a camera's image to a monitor located in the vehicle that can be easily seen by the driver.
